# Image credits

All product imagery on this site is **our own artwork**: studio-style
visualisations of the exact kit format we ship, drawn from scratch for Synedica
Labs and rendered by `tools/render_products.py`.

Each frame is a physically rendered studio photograph generated in Blender
Cycles: a printed carton beside a borosilicate vial with modelled wall thickness,
liquid and meniscus, crimped aluminium, and a coloured flip-off cap. The artwork,
materials, lighting and reflection are original to Synedica Labs. Nothing is
photographed or copied from another shop.

No image is copied from a competitor store, and none is a photograph of another
manufacturer's product. The label on every visualisation carries our own
wordmark, the correct compound name, the dose and a lot code.

## Why visualisations and not photographs

- Retatrutide is an investigational compound with no retail product in
  existence, so no photograph of a retatrutide pen exists anywhere. Publishing
  someone else's branded pen (Mounjaro, Ozempic, Genotropin) next to a
  *different* molecule would misrepresent what a customer receives — so we
  don't do it.
- A single visual language across the catalogue means the shape, the colour
  coding and the label layout genuinely map to the product you order.
- When we ship a batch we photograph the actual box and vials and attach the
  images to the order confirmation.

## Technical notes

Each file is exported at 1000 × 1000 px in three formats:

- `.avif` — preferred, served to modern browsers
- `.webp` — fallback
- `.png` — legacy fallback

> **Cache note:** `/assets/*` is served `immutable, max-age=1y`. Regenerating an
> image is not enough — always run `version_images.py` afterwards, otherwise
> browsers (and the CDN) keep the old bytes forever.

`tools/real_photos.py` is kept for reference only — it downloads freely licensed
Wikimedia Commons photographs of *other* manufacturers' devices and is **not**
used for the published catalogue.
